The Stampeders were enormous in Canada, but never really cracked any
other market, except of the odd single.

Here's a couple of very Native influenced songs of theirs.

The Stampeders - Then Came the White Man (1971)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkh59FLRkxw

The Stampeders - Running Wild (1973)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T6FCQsQoaM

Running Wild is my personal favourite, it is usually played near the
end of the show. Taken quite seriously by the band, they pretty much
have their heads down playing it for all its worth. Lends itself to
some improvisations during the instrumental passages.

Most any album of theirs had some Native/Indian influence, which by
virtue of the part of the world I live in, is very popular.
