MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson has partnered with Arizona-based jewelry manufacturer Diabolik 85258 as they launch an original line of "Ellefson Concert Series" rock and roll accessories.

States Ellefson, "I'm excited to offer this line with Diabolik 85258 as they have a classic rock and roll look but with my signature Fallout Shelter logo to define it as part of thrash metal's history, too. These pieces were designed to help rockers of all genres embellish their wardrobe with some great rock and roll flare."

Ellefson's enthusiasm for music has always been the driving force of his creative edge. As a result, he says that a portion of the proceeds from these pieces will be donated to the MusiCares Musician Assistance Program to help those musicians in need of health care, financial and medical needs.

The "Ellefson Concert Series" line will debut Wednesday, April 11 at the Revolver Revolver Golden Gods awards at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California. After the show, all Diabolik 85258, including the "Ellelfson Concert Series" pieces, will be available for further viewing at www.diabolik85258.com.

Diabolik 85258, established in 2009, manufactures jewelry using bronze, silver and eco-friendly, lead-free fine pewter all purchased from distributors in the United States and completes the process entirely in Arizona. The Diabolik 85258 line consists of jewelry pieces that appeal to the rock star, goth and biker genre. Their pieces include intricate designs utilizing computer-aided design technology to maximize precision and detail. The "Ellefson Concert Series" makes good use of this technology by including Ellefson's "written" signature along with the "Fallout Shelter" symbol Ellefson uses as his personal logo. Chief designer for Diabolik 85258, Ira Leibowitz, said, "We are proud to have David on board. The 'Ellefson Concert' line of jewelry we have designed is a tip of the hat to David and his contribution to the heavy-metal world. We look forward to expanding the 'Ellefson Concert Series' line to include many other pieces."

Less than a week after apologizing to GUNS N' ROSES lead singer Axl Rose and the other members of the band's current lineup for calling them "hacks," the group's original drummer, Steven Adler, has clarified his comments, insisting that he meant to use the word "scabs" instead.

In last Thursday's (March 29) interview with Loudwire, Adler expressed his desire to see the original GUNS lineup perform together at their upcoming induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, saying, "[Slash is] my brother. I know he's up to it. He wants to do it. I want to do it. Just from what I hear, Izzy's [Stradlin] not gonna show up and Axl will probably want to play with his hack band . . . it shouldn't even be GUNS N' ROSES. He's just driving that name into the freakin' ground. 'Axl and His Hacks.'"

Adler issued a statement the following day, saying, "Sometimes my emotions get the best of me when talking about my former band . . . it's no secret that I want to finish what we started 25 years ago and play together at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. The guys that Axl has put together are all great players. They're not hacks in the sense that they can't play, they're all incredible musicians. I just meant that they are not the original lineup."

Speaking to the Artisan News (see video below), Adler further explained his original comments, saying, "I apologized to them. I said the wrong word. I meant to say 'scabs.' But, you see, 'scabs' are something that… Big factories, when the main workers would go on strike, the factory would get people off the street and they would call them scabs. I wouldn't say they can't play. I would just say more the main people are on strike, [and] this is what Axl's got going. Of course they're great players, or they wouldn't be playing with Axl."

Speculation had been running rampant about a reunion ever since it was announced in December that GUNS would be inducted at the April 14 ceremony in Cleveland.

Rose himself — who, by all accounts, will never perform again with Slash — remained ambivalent about the situation, although Slash recently said in an interview that the original lineup was definitely not performing at the event.

In addition to GUNS N' ROSES, other artists being inducted at the 27th annual ceremony include the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, the BEASTIE BOYS, the FACES/SMALL FACES, Donovan and Laura Nyro.

The ceremony will be taped for broadcast by HBO, which plans to air it in early May.
ADLER, the new band led by former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler, filmed its first video yesterday (Wednesday, April 4) in the Los Angeles area.

A couple of photos from the video shoot can be seen below.

ADLER will release its debut single, "The One That You Hated", via iTunes on April 10.

The cover for the single, which was created by the band's guitarist, Lonny Paul, can be seen below.

ADLER will film a video for "The One That You Hated" next week in the Los Angeles area.

In addition to Steven and Lonny, ADLER features Jacob Bunton (LYNAM, MARS ELECTRIC) on vocals/guitar. The group has been recording its debut album in Los Angeles with producers Jeff Pilson (former DOKKEN and current FOREIGNER/TOOTH AND NAIL bassist) and Jay Ruston (ANTHRAX, STEEL PANTHER, ADRENALINE MOB).

ADLER's CD will feature guest appearances by ROB ZOMBIE/ex-MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5 and Steven's former GUNS N' ROSES bandmate Slash (guitar).

"I love the music that we're creating!" states Adler. "I haven't been this excited about my band since the GN'R days. Jacob is exactly the singer I have been searching for. He has an amazing range and is a great writer and frontman. Lonny is an amazing guitarist and songwriter and the vibe is amazing!" He added, "I'm so excited for everyone to hear this record!"

Steven spent the past several years touring and recording with ADLER'S APPETITE, which played original material alongside cover versions of songs from GUNS' classic debut album, "Appetite For Destruction".

In 2010, Adler collaborated with Slash on the latter's self-titled debut solo album. He appeared on the track "Baby Can't Drive", along with RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS bassist Flea, Alice Cooper and Nicole Scherzinger. The song was featured on an expanded edition of the album released by Classic Rock magazine.

Adler, Slash, bassist Duff McKagan, singer Axl Rose and guitarist Izzy Stradlin will all be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next month in Cleveland, along with later GUNS N' ROSES members, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and drummer Matt Sorum.

MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil spoke to the Las Vegas Sun about his decision not to visit the Palms in Las Vegas again after he got into a Twitter war of words with the hotel-casino because he was told that booths at Palms' Little Buddha restaurant were for parties of four — and he was only three. "They were empty anyway," Neil told Robin Leach of the Las Vegas Sun. "I offered to buy a magnum of champagne, which cost more than what a fourth guest would eat, but the manager refused. We ate at the bar, paid the bill and then while playing at the Mint Lounge were told by security to leave. None of it made sense. Thus, my tweets and then all the other tweets from former Palms employees and customers in support of me."

In its Twitter response to Vince's original comments, Palms insisted that Neil's "inappropriate behavior" led to him being "asked to leave" the Little Budha, adding that "we cannot and will not allow our guests, no matter who they are, to mistreat our team members."

After reading Palms' statement, Neil remained defiant, writing, "It's funny how I'm BANNED from the @palms AFTER I said I don't want to go there anymore!! They are TWISTING the story around to make themselves look better! This is about executives @palms covering up for each other! Nothing more!"

To show support for Mike Weatherley's "Rock The House" initiative, Los Angeles glam metal jokesters STEEL PANTHER rocked up to the Houses Of Parliament in London, England on Saturday, March 31 before playing to a sold-out Brixton Academy.

"Rock The House" now has David Cameron's backing and is a Parliamentary music competition founded by Mike Weatherley, a British Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP), and backed by the music industry and a huge roster of music legends. It sees MPs nominate musicians from their own constituency that are then judged by a panel of international music industry experts and musicians to determine the finalists who will compete in a live battle of the bands. Winners in each artist's category will then play a live set on the Terrace of the House of Commons in the evening at the finale reception and winning loads of once-in-a-lifetime prizes!

The competition is backed by Ministers, cross-party MPs, industry professionals and bodies — and rock stars, including Alice Cooper, DEEP PURPLE's Ian Gillan, BEE GEES' Robin Gibb, BLINK 182's Mark Hoppus, WHITESNAKE's Bernie Marsden, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's Matt Tuck, ANTHRAX's Rob Caggiano, BUSTED and FIGHTSTAR's Charlie Simpson, GALLOWS' Laurent Bernard, DON BROCO's Rob Damiani and YES' Rick Wakeman, who are all official Patrons.

Said Weatherley: "The competition is so important in getting legislators to connect with a creative demographic that they sometimes do not engage with. Rock the House hopes to increase political awareness of IP issues and ensure that the U.K. remains a world-leading creative economy. It is a huge privilege to have created a forum for musicians, music industry professionals and Parliamentarians to add to the debate and discuss these crucial issues to pave the way forward. I am delighted that the Prime Minister will be taking part by entering a nomination."

Jim Marshall, known as "The Father of Loud" for inventing the Marshall amplifier, has died at the age of 88.

Marshall, who originally owned a music shop in London, founded Marshall Amplification 50 years ago.

Fomer GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash tweeted: "The news of Jim Marshall passing is deeply saddening. R & R will never be the same w/out him. But, his amps will live on FOREVER!"

American blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa also showed his appreciation on Twitter: "A very sad day for the Marshall family. My thoughts and prayers go out to Paul and his family. Rest in Peace Jim Marshall OBE."

MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson wrote: "Rest in peace to Marshall Amps founder Jim Marshall. Had the pleasure to meet him in 2001 at the factory in Milton Keynes, England. A gentle soul who carved out the loudest sound in rock 'n' roll."

MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx: "R.I.P. Jim Marshall. You were responsible for some of the greatest audio moments in music's history and 50% of all our hearing loss."

SKINDRED guitarist Mikey Demus offered his respects, tweeting: "RIP Jim Marshall, The Father Of Loud. Without his contribution to music, god knows what we'd all be listening to."

The following message has been posted on Marshall Amplification's web site:

"Jim Marshall. While mourning the Guv'nor though, we also salute a legendary man who led a full and truly remarkable life.

"Jim's ascent into the history books as 'the Father of Loud' and the man responsible for 'the Sound of Rock' is a true rags-to-riches tale. Cruelly robbed of his youth by tubercular bones, Jim rose to become one of the four forefathers responsible for creating the tools that allowed rock guitar as we know and love it today to be born. The groundbreaking quartet also included the late, great trio of Leo Fender, Les Paul and Seth Lover — together with Jim, they truly are the cornerstones of all things rock.

"In addition to the creation of the amps chosen by countless guitar heroes and game changing bands, Jim was also an incredibly humble and generous man who, over the past several decades, has quietly donated many millions of pounds to worthy causes.

"While the entire Marshall Amplification family mourns Jim's passing and will miss him tremendously, we all feel richer for having known him and are happy in the knowledge that he is now in a much better place which has just got a whole lot louder!

"Rest in peace and thank you, Jim.

"Your memory; the music and joy your amps have brought to countless millions for the past five decades; and that world-famous, omnipresent script logo that proudly bears your name will always live on.

"An online condolences site will be available shortly which we welcome you to leave your messages on. An announcement will be made when this will be accessible."

Former KISS and current GRAND FUNK RAILROAD guitarist Bruce Kulick has released the following statement regarding the passing of Jim Marshall, the creator of the Marshall amplifier:

"The loss of Jim Marshall today saddens me greatly. My love of Marshall amps and the iconic company he created will always be a part of my life. I will never forget the clinic tour I did with him back in the early '90s promoting the 900 series amps, which I still use. His charm and grace in the English way made him unique to me. Knowing all the lives he changed with his products, and the artists he worked with through the years, made him a giant in the industry of the music business. I know Jim will never be forgotten, and that the legacy of his amps will carry on for generations to come. RIP, Jim Marshall."

Marshall, who originally owned a music shop in London, founded Marshall Amplification 50 years ago. He was 88 years old.

On May 22, Finnish metallers CHILDREN OF BODOM will release "Holiday At Lake Bodom (15 Years Of Wasted Youth)", a very special CD+DVD career retrospective in celebration of the band's 15th anniversary. The release will spotlight specially selected tracks from every one of the group's critically acclaimed albums (1997's "Something Wild", 1999's "Hatebreeder", 2000's "Follow The Reaper", 2003's "Hate Crew Deathroll", 2005's "Are You Dead Yet?", 2008's "Blooddrunk" and 2011's "Relentless Reckless Forever"), plus two newly recorded (and undeniably fun) cover songs and detailed liner notes penned by the members of CHILDREN OF BODOM themselves. The DVD portion of the package will include "candid touring and backstage footage from around the world", plus the never-before-seen music video for "Relentless Reckless Forever"'s "Shovel Knockout".

"'15 Years Of Wasted Youth' is the sound of CHILDREN OF BODOM working hard, partying hard, being relentless and stubborn," says the band's guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho. "We went through many brick walls to get to where we are, and after seven studio albums, two live albums, non-stop touring, bleeding and breaking a lot of bones, I think we are justified in putting this album out. Let the music speak for itself. You have been warned."

"Holiday At Lake Bodom (15 Years Of Wasted Youth)" track listing:

The release of "Holiday At Lake Bodom (15 Years Of Wasted Youth)" continues CHILDREN OF BODOM's year-long anniversary celebration, which kicked off with the band's highly successful "15th Anniversary" headlining tour of North America.
In an interview with MusikUniverse.net, Laiho said that the band is scheduled to commence the songwriting sessions for its next album this fall for a 2013 release. "I have ideas, but I haven't done anything about it," Alexi said. "'Cause the thing is, I can't write when I'm touring; it's not the right kind of environment for me. I know a lot of people do it, but I just can't. And it's OK, 'cause I build a lot of ideas in my head, and my memory sucks, but one thing that I never forget is the riffs; they're always in my head somehow. So it's really not a problem."

CHILDREN OF BODOM's last album, "Relentless Reckless Forever", sold nearly 11,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 42 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, 2008's "Blooddrunk", opened with 19,000 units to land at No. 22. This number was roughly four times the opening tally of "Blooddrunk"'s predecessor, "Are You Dead Yet?", which premiered with 5,000 units back in October 2005 to enter the chart at No. 195.

"Relentless Reckless Forever" was certified gold in the band's home country for first-day sales of over 10,000 copies. The CD was recorded in Finland's Petrax Studios with famed rock producer Matt Hyde (SLAYER, MONSTER MAGNET).

HATEBREED's Matt Byrne and GOD FORBID's Corey Pierce will take part in a drum clinic at The Collective School Of Music in New York City on April 19 at 7 p.m. General-admission tickets are $15 dollars.

HATEBREED recently made pre-production recordings of some of its new material before embarking on a six-date tour of South America with LAMB OF GOD and LACUNA COIL at the end of March.

"Equilibrium", the new album from GOD FORBID, sold 3,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 156 on The Billboard 200 chart. The effort landed at No. 7 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

The tracks are available now as digital downloads at this location. The release will be limited to 1,700 records in five different colors.

We finally re-recorded them with the band. 'Garbage Stomp' is the intro — which we're bringing back on tour."

The track listing is as follows:

California metallers BONDED BY BLOOD have set "The Aftermath" as the title of their third studio album, due on July3 in North America (one day earlier internationally) via Earache Records. The CD was tracked at at Darth Mader Music in Los Angeles with producer and former MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader (DEVILDRIVER, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH).

Commented BONDED BY BLOOD drummer Carlos Regalado: "We worked so hard on this album for a solid year and we accomplished what we were aiming for.

"[The album title has] got a simple meaning behind it — the aftermath of all the shit we've been through in the past couple years: member changes, unexpected problems on the road, personal issues, a lot of obstacles that almost ended BONDED BY BLOOD.

"This is what we love, this band is everything to us, we weren't going to let other people dictate and destroy our aspirations and dreams.

"'The Aftermath' cover art is just straight up badass, it shows what society is doing wrong and how things need to change, or mother earth will fuck you up."

BONDED BY BLOOD is gearing up for a North American tour with KITTIE, BLACKGUARD and THE AGONIST which will kick off on April 10 in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Italian progressive metallers NEVERDREAM will release their fourth album, "The Circle", in the fall. The CD will be based on a dramatic concept story about family abuse, religious fanatism and a tragic hero. For the first time in the band's history, the album will be released digitally only and as a full free download.

"The Circle" takes its audience to the city of Corpus Christi in Texas in the middle of the '80s. A family father, strictly religious but violent at the same time, abuses his son sexually and puts pressure on him not to tell anyone about it. He tells his son about a belt of security that he built around the city with the help of God and that protects all good people from the evil. The evil in his eyes are betrayers, liars as well as all women.

One day the son's mother forces herself to go to the police to report the sexual abuse. The father goes to prison and the son begins to hate his mother — blinded by the ideologies of his father, he moves away from this godless place. He eventually meets a girl and falls in love with her. But from this moment on, a number of murders begin to happen, with the victims all young women found with sewed eyes.

The story's main character, detective Thomas Curtis, is played and sung by German progressive icon Andy Kuntz of VANDEN PLAS who was previously involved in the rock opera "Christo". Kuntz currently works as a singer at a theater in Kaiserslautern.

NEVERDREAM's third CD, 2010's "Said", was produced by Achim Köhler (PRIMAL FEAR, EDGUY, MASTERPLAN) and was described in a press release as "a journey throughout the historical, social and cultural life of the cradle of human race."

NEVERDREAM is:

Voice: Giorgio Massimi
Guitar: Giuseppe Marinelli
Bass: Andrea Terzulli
Key: Mauro Neri
Keyboards, Sax, Programming: Fabrizio Dottori
Drums: Gabriele Palmieri

"Sexaholic" brings the dark side of the disease known as sex addiction to the forefront. The track is currently available for purchase on iTunes and at other digital outlets, and the video is due to be released in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout.

Following the release of the "Sexaholic" video, Dilana will enter the studio to create a brand new album, the follow-up to 2009's "Inside Out", with plans for a late 2012 release. She is asking her devoted fans to help her fund the new album by contributing to her Kickstarter program. To participate, fans must donate by April 9 at her official Kickstarter page. [I] can't wait to get the video out there soon!"

The Musicians Institute (MI) Conversation Series in association with Revolver magazine welcomes Corey Taylor and M. Shawn Crahan of the Grammy Award-winning metal band SLIPKNOT on Monday, April 9 at 6:00 p.m. PST. Join the conversation live online on the MI Facebook page; a limited number of questions will be selected from the chatroom.

Live audience is only open to MI students and alumni.

MI alumni should RSVP before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9 by emailing alumni@mi.edu.

Taylor and Crahan unveiled their new film and TV production company, called Living Breathing Films, in January at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The company, said in a press release to specialize in "mystery, suspense, horror and the dark side of life," held a press conference, launch party and acoustic performance for media and festival attendees, during which Taylor and Crahan announced their initial projects.

In a statement, Taylor described the company's first, yet-to-be-named project as "very psychological," adding, "It's a study in 'Did my eyes see what I think they saw?' It's definitely going to stir the pot and get the world talking."

Both Taylor and Crahan are giving input into the first script, with Taylor telling The Pulse Of Radio that Crahan intends to direct a film at some point. The percussionist has directed all of SLIPKNOT's home videos and co-directed its music videos.

Taylor has been ambivalent about working on new SLIPKNOT material following the death in May 2010 of the group's bassist, Paul Gray, although Crahan and drummer Joey Jordison have been much more confident about the band recording again.

SLIPKNOT will headline this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in the U.S.

Candlelight Records has announced the signing of ZATOKREV, one of the most forward-thinking and crushing bands in extreme music at the moment. The group's new full-length album, "The Bat, The Wheel And A Long Road To Nowhere", will be released later in the year. The CD was recorded at the Rec Studio in Geneva and was mixed, mastered and co-produced by Raphaël Bovey, also known as drummer from the band KRUGER.

ZATOKREV, hailing from Basel in Switzerland, was founded by Silvio Spadino (drums), Marco Grementieri (bass/samples) and Frederyk Rotter (guitar/vocals) in April 2002 to deliver a heavy load of dragging metal.

According to a press release, "The Bat, The Wheel And A Long Road To Nowhere" "contains elements from sludge, stoner, black metal, prog-metal, psychedelic rock, post-hardcore and shows more dynamics in song writing, instrumentation and a stronger variety of vocals."

Commented Frederyk Rotter: "We're very proud to be signed on Candlelight Records. Since years it's one of our favorite labels. We're looking forward to a good collaboration and to bring ZATOKREV forward with Candlelight's help!"

TROLLFEST, the self-proclaimed "true Norwegian Balkan metal" band, has unveiled the artwork for its upcoming album, "Brumlebassen", due in August via NoiseArt Records. Responsible once again for the amazing images that vividly depict the story of what will be the band's fifth full-length album, is Swedish cartoonist Jonas Darnell, who originally created the iconic metal duck from TROLLFEST's "Villanden" album, and has worked with the band ever since. Terje Johnsen, who has been working on the design side of TROLLFEST's releases since the "Brakebein" album, has once again teamed up with Darnell to produce the finished package.

Like all TROLLFEST albums, "Brumlebassen" tells a story about one of the characters that inhabit the fantastical universe created by the band. This time the story is about Brumlebassen the Bee Keeper, whose task it is to care for the bees and brew the Honey Mead that is much loved by the Trolls. Brumlebassen adores his bees so much that he would secretly like to become one of them himself and he is therefore depicted wearing a bee costume!

Track listing for "Brumlebassen", which will be available as a gatefold vinyl and limited digipack including 12 tracks plus a bonus cut, is as follows:

01. Brumlebassen
02. Böse Tivoli
03. Illsint
04: Hevlette
05. Finsken, Norsken and Presten
06. Mystisk Maskert
07. Apis Mellifera
08. TrinkenTroll
09. Verboten Kjærleik
10. Bråk
11. Sellout
12. Rundt Bålet
13. Konterbier (bonus track)

TROLLFEST, known for their exuberant stage performances which have won them myriads of fans wherever they play, recently announced that Tor Einar Rognhave (stage name St Beinhard) would be joining the band as a permanent member, to replace Per-Olav Wiik, whose personal commitments no longer allowed him the time needed for the extensive schedule of live appearances. Immediately after their show at Norway's Inferno festival, the band set off for a 20-date European tour with KORPIKLAANI in April, followed by appearances at ExtremeFest in Austria, Germany and Switzerland in July, Metalcamp in Slovenia in August (where something special has been planned), and the Heidenfest tour of Europe in October and November.

BIOHAZARD's Billy Graziadei is the latest guest musician to appear on the forthcoming full-length album from the Los Angeles hardcore band STRIFE. He tracked a verse at his Firewater Studios in Los Angeles for the song entitled "Never Look Back".

STRIFE enlisted longtime friend Igor Cavalera (SEPULTURA, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY) to play drums on the CD, which is being produced by TERROR drummer Nick Jett (TAKE OFFENSE, LIONHEART). Igor laid down the drum tracks at Mix Nova Studios in Brazil, with additional recordings taking place at Blood Tracks Studio and Sunset Lodge in Los Angeles. Producer Matt Hyde (HATEBREED, SLAYER) will take care of the mastering duties later this month.

Commented Graziadei: "I met the guys in STRIFE back when we were recording the BIOHAZARD album 'State Of The World Address'. We hit it off pretty good and the guys helped us out with background vocals. It's cool to be able to return the favor and have the honor of singing on THEIR record now! With Igor Cavalera on drums and Nick Jett producing the new CD, the guys are back stronger than ever! Hope to hit the road with them sometime during our tour for 'Reborn In Defiance'!"

STRIFE's new album will also feature a guest appearance by Scott Vogel (TERROR) and Marc Rizzo (SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY).

Commented STRIFE guitarist Andrew Kline: "Igor absolutely killed the drum tracks. He played a lot more straight-forward than he normally does to fit our style, and then added the right fills and touches to really stand out."

A final release date, label, cover art and additional information on STRIFE's first CD since 2001's "Angermeans" will be revealed in the near future.

Cavalera previously made a guest appearance on STRIFE's second album, 1997's "In This Defiance".

STRIFE is:

Rick Rodney - Vocals
Andrew Kline - Guitar
Chad Peterson - Bass
Todd Turnham - Guitar
Pepe Magana – Drums

Chicago-based extremists NACHTMYSTIUM have finished mixing their new album, "Silencing Machine", at Engine Studios with Sanford Parker (YOB, PELICAN) for a July 31 release via Century Media Records. Prior to the recording session, the band and Sanford worked on a few other tracks, two of which will be released as a special limited-edition seven-inch which will be released on April 16. The single will contain the new track "As Made" and a cover version of JOY DIVISION's "The Eternal", which features vocals by Chris Connelly (REVOLTING COCKS, MINISTRY). Neither track will be included on "Silencing Machine" and the two songs will only be available as part of this single.

The seven-inch single will be available in mint-green and limited to 100 copies (exclusive available at CM Distro). It will also be available in white and black vinyl limited to 200 copies each.

The single will be available before the official release date and can be pre-ordered here.

A U.S. Midwest mini-tour with KRIEG and MURMUR will kick off on July 25.

Very few bands today embrace their own individualism to ultimately craft something truly unique and genre defying. Enter the NACHTMYSTIUM, who embrace the true spirit of individuality and intolerance forming solely as an outlet to express the dark musical visions and summoning's of those involved.

The band already sailed under the Century Media label banner in the USA since 2008 and released the classic albums "Assassins: Black Meddle Pt. 1" (2008) and "Addicts: Black Meddle Part II" (2010). Now, Century Media finally looks into a worldwide partnership with NACHTMYSTIUM and plans great things to come in 2012!

Originally formed in 1999 by Blake Judd, NACHTMYSTIUM started off as a raw, primitive black metal band with a very derivative Norsk black metal influence. They released a number of records on underground labels before they turned into a new musical direction and 'psychedelic'-era. Over the past years NACHTMYSTIUM created a genre all of its own and will develop this progress for 2012.

Founding member Blake Judd (vocals, guitars) commented on the new deal: "We are very excited and honoured to be working with Century Media, a label who over the years has showcased a ferocious dedication to extreme music. GRAVE, TIAMAT, SAMAEL and countless other bands active in the early '90s were some of the first bands to inspire us endlessly to create our own metal music. We anticipate a great working relationship and hope to embark on a joint ascension to metal superiority together!"

Austrian blackened death metal outfit BELPHEGOR will enter Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida on May 29 with producer Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, MORBID ANGEL, CANNIBAL CORPSE) to begin recording its as-yet-untitled new album for a late 2012 release via Nuclear Blast Records.

Commented guitarist/vocalist Helmuth Lehner: "Around 2006 I have contact Erik the first time, I guess. We talked about the producing of the 'Bondage Goat Zombie' album, but he wasn't available. This time, we have to do it! Our sound, attitude… or let's say trademark, is a symbiosis of all extremities that came out of this glorious genre… Diabolical black death metal.

"Since February 2012, we rehearse and write hard on nine shredding sound collages.

"To record chapter X with Erik is perfect, since he exactly know what we need and how we get this shit done.

"The thing is, the new compositions are full of intensity and pure aggression. The combination of European metal coldness, atmosphere and sickest elements crossed with an American brutal sound is the master plan. This experiment is going to be ultra-sick!

"I dig to work with motivated, possessed and enthusiastic artists, to keep the fire burning, in all related things (producers, musicians, etc.) No rules, all is permitted. This is the main reason why BELPHEGOR survived almost 20 years."

Added Rutan: "I am very excited to be recording and mixing the new BELPHEGOR album at Mana. After many discussions with Helmuth and hearing some clips of new material, I know that the band is very focused and determined on making a harmoniously evil extreme masterpiece. We shall make one beast of an album that the fans have come to expect from BELPHEGOR!"

BELPHEGOR's last album, "Blood Magick Necromance", was released in January 2011 in Europe and February 2011 in the U.S. via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was produced by Peter Tägtgren (IMMORTAL, CELTIC FROST, HYPOCRISY, DIMMU BORGIR) at his Abyss Studios in Pärlby, Sweden and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren.

Swedish black metal heathens WATAIN are set to unleash a new DVD upon the masses. Titled "Opus Diaboli", the production commemorates the band's 13 years of chaos by providing a visual and audio documentation of their ceremonial anniversary concert performance in Stockholm and the long years of physical, intellectual and spiritual work leading up to it. "Opus Diaboli" is an epic 90-minute journey into the forbidden realms of wild-hearted Satanic metal and the manifestation of a unique band that has truly chosen a path few have ever dared to tread upon.

Comments the band in a collective statement: "This movie was first meant to be the recording of our 13-year anniversary concert, but as everything with WATAIN, it took on a life of its own and become one of our most ambitious projects to date. It is a very personal and emotional piece of work and is certainly not for the faint of heart. But for those who wish to explore the glimmering abyss of WATAIN further, this will be a rewarding release for sure. The box version of 'Opus Diaboli' [available exclusively through the band's own Wolfwear.net] contains an exclusive photobook. It was an overwhelming experience going through the massive archives in search of photos that best sum up the storm of passionate turmoil that has marked the WATAIN journey, especially since we wanted to stay away from live photos and focus more on moments off stage. The results were however very satisfying and offer a rare and spicy mixture of photos of which most have never been published previously. We are also proud to announce that this will be the first release on our own label His Master's Noise, a name originating from BATHORY who had it in mind for their own label back in the early 1980s. Just like with our merch store Wolfwear.net, from which the limited box set will be available, this time we have chosen to stand by our own and do things our way."

"Opus Diaboli" DVD: A four-panel digipack including the DVD, two audio CDs featuring the full concert plus a 16-page booklet with historical photos and flyers.

"Opus Diaboli" box: Limited 12-inch box including the DVD, two audio CDs and two LPs featuring the full concert plus an exclusive 64-page booklet with historical photos and flyers.

"Opus Diaboli" will be unleashed in North America on June 5.

As previously announced, WATAIN will take part in the inaugural Decibel Magazine Tour alongside BEHEMOTH, THE DEVIL'S BLOOD and IN SOLITUDE. The live ceremonies will commence next week on April 11 in Ohio and bloody 26 stages, including a stop in Oklahoma City, where the trek will merge with the U.S. Torture Tour featuring CANNIBAL CORPSE, EXHUMED, ABYSMAL DAWN, and ARKAIK for an evening of audio devastation.

Producer and musician Cameron Argon's alter ego, solo underground death metal project DISFIGURING THE GODDESS, will release a brand new album entitled "Sleeper" on April 24. Within the last few years, despite never performing live, DISFIGURING THE GODDESS has become a recognized name in the metal community among young fans and industry elites alike due to an impressive viral and word-of-mouth buzz about the project. Not only known as the brain behind the project, 21-year-old Argon performs the entire EP on his own. Cameron Argon is better known by his other moniker, Big Chocolate. Though also heralded for his work as a producer and EDM artist, he has risen as a respected figure in the metal scene based on his notable work with DISFIGURING THE GODDESS.

Churning amongst a sea of similarities as brutal death metal and deathcore bands are spawned by the minute, DISFIGURING THE GODDESS' "Sleeper" adds a spin to the mix — emerging as impressive seven track skull-crusher of a record with a unique twist.

"Sleeper" track listing:

01. Sleeper
02. Queen Kingdom
03. Daughter Of Depths
04. Lady Epicenter
05. Vines of Aftermath
06. Mountain
07. Ocean Tomb

The EP will be the first physical release for DISFIGURING THE GODDESS, and will be accompanied by the launch of the official DISFIGURING THE GODDESS webstore as well.
