Acclaimed Composer/Singer Juwon Ogungbe launches his
debut Album "Life Force Music" with an exciting evening of live music, ceremony
and discussion. Juwon's band -
comprising some of the UK's finest young African and Caribbean musicians - with guests Rowland Sutherland (flute extraordinaire x-Jazz Warriors) & South African soprano Joyce Moholoagae, will
play album highlights; a distinguished panel will explore Juwon's musical vocabulary
and influences – partly stemming from long association with the Centre encountering
musicians from throughout Africa, and formal blessings will be offered.
Richly textured African jazz classical dance music with Juwon's mellifluous baritone in an intensely musical crisply produced album. Much anticipated ... well outside the box
