I haven't really heard much of Pretty Things catalogue, but I do have SF Sorrow performed Live with David Gilmour on Guitar. The release is called Resurrection. It was performed live with linking narration from Arthur Brown. I had heard the studio version a long time ago, and was quite amazed to come across the live version. It's pretty cool stuff if you get a chance to hear it.

Coincidentally I was listening to my old Silk Torpedo album (Pretty Things) just last week. Another in my ridiculous task of converting vinyl to digital. Good record, good group as far as I can tell from my rather small collection of them. The only other record I own of them is Savage Eye.

...btw, Silk Torpedo still ranks as one of my favourite album covers :)

If you asked this question of any band of musicians listed here they would probably put little feat at or near the top of their favorite band list, But that's only if they ever heard Little Feat. Some haven't I'm sure.  Pretty Things are also worth hearing if you haven't yet. Almost no one knows about them. I guess thats because they never sold out and did their own thing..

I haven't heard a note from it yet. I have read a couple of reviews and
it seems to be dubbed a winner. The package that I'm looking at is the
double disc, with the entire album done instrumentally on the 2nd disc.

So far, I've only played the latest disk on youtube but I might well
buy it. Fave song for now is Last Ride of the Day but it seems to have
been pulled from youtube yesterday.
