I'm with you on this subject. At home I still use the cd/stereo as my
primary listening source, however if I'm not around that system, the ipod is
the next best thing.
Away from home, I still use cd's in the car, but that's only because my
vehicle is not equipped to handle portable units. I do have a little adaptor
that transmits from an Ipod to an FM band, but its a miserable unit that is
constantly gathers interference.
At work or on the jogging path, its Ipod all the way. I've got the nano
version with 16 gb at my disposal and that holds plenty for me to get
through the day. Eventually I wouldn't mind a unit that could hold every
last album, file that I own. Not sure what size that would need to be.
Suspect that the original Ipod would work well for me.
