What an interesting write up. It's such a shame a man who worked so hard never got to bare the fruits of his labour.  And absolutely disgrace that his death was never investigated.

Walter was a star who fell through the cracks and the world never got to know about him.He was actually signed by Atlantic records in 1958 but somehow or another someone on the business end of things dropped the ball.He was killed in 1990 when he was just about to become famous. Check out his bio that was done by a soul music journalist in the uk. Contains vintage recordings.
