The 50th Committee & The Union of Sierra Leonean Organizations (USLO) the umbrella organization comprising of various organizations in New York State is inviting all Sierra Leoneans and our friends in the planning of this celebration.
This celebration not only meant to reflect the difficult past in our country's history, especially after the many years of civil war, but to celebrate the present, as we enjoy peace and security, and the gradual or slow economic recovery, and also the future of a brighter Sierra Leone.
There is no doubt that, this event will help change the perception of many about Sierra Leone, and not just a bloody diamond field, as we are planning on showing some very unique and rich cultural festivities.
