That's the thing. I don't know anybody who would list them as their favourite, but I can't think of anybody (aside from my Mom who had a real dislike for the ending of Freebird) who doesn't like them.

Another characterisitic of theirs that I like, is that I can't really tell a difference between the early stuff and that last albums either. All just one big lump o' music to me.

Interestingly enough, Lynyrd Skynyrd has never been "my favourite band" but after all these years I still listen to them and very much enjoy the music when I'm in the mood. Something about putting on headphones and listening to them that just makes the world go away.

Welcome to the group Rosemarie. Music from the 60's, 70's and early 80's is probably my favourite but I also like listening to other music as well.

I'm Rosemarie and I want to introduce myself.

I've always enjoyed different kinds of music since I was very little. Although I love the music of the 50's and 60's the best, I also love classic rock of the 60's and 70's. I'm not too much into groups like Van Halen and Metallica. One of my favorite classic rock groups of the 70's was Lynyrd Skynyrd. They had a lot of great message songs as did the groups of the 60's.
