Re: [Classic_Rock_Forever] introducing myself

Interestingly enough, Lynyrd Skynyrd has never been "my favourite band" but after all these years I still listen to them and very much enjoy the music when I'm in the mood. Something about putting on headphones and listening to them that just makes the world go away.

Welcome to the group Rosemarie. Music from the 60's, 70's and early 80's is probably my favourite but I also like listening to other music as well.

Hi Rosemarie,

Welcome to the group. Lots of different tastes in here, and that's what makes it interesting.

Something that just occurred to me with your message. I can't think of anybody over the years in this group that doesn't like Lynryd Skynryd. I could be wrong there, and they probably aren't always a favourite, but I'm thinking most people like Lyrnyrd Skynyrd.

For myself, I can't think of anything they did that I didn't like. Extra points for the best 'sounding' recorded live album on vinyl

Subject: [Classic_Rock_Forever] introducing myself

Hi, everyone,

I'm Rosemarie and I want to introduce myself.

I've always enjoyed different kinds of music since I was very little. Although I love the music of the 50's and 60's the best, I also love classic rock of the 60's and 70's. I'm not too much into groups like Van Halen and Metallica. One of my favorite classic rock groups of the 70's was Lynyrd Skynyrd. They had a lot of great message songs as did the groups of the 60's.

Other than that, I can't think of much else to say so I'll go for now. Have a great day.

Rosemarie
