Beck, Stewart Ponder Reunion
After Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart reunited for a one-off performance in 2009, there was a lot of buzz about a full blown reunion. According to Rolling Stone, the talk has now evolved into firm planning for a Beck-Stewart album, 42 years after Jeff Beck Group's Truth and Beck-Ola helped set the stage for future solo stardom for both artists. Stewart says Beck is "going up to record some tracks with his band in February in San Francisco and to send them over to me, so we're making progress."
Jagger and the Grammys
You'd think that after nearly 50 years in the business, there surely couldn't be many "firsts" left for Mick Jagger, but his performance at the Grammy Awards (2/13) will be a first. Over the years, Rolling Stones have been nominated for nine Grammys and won three but have never performed live at the awards ceremony.
