U2 has added yet another cocnert on this year's 360 tour: July 30th at the Magnetic Hill concert site in Moncton, NB, Canada. It'll be U2's first show in eastern Canada. Arcade Fire and Carney -- the band involved in the Spider-Man production on Broadway -- will be the opening acts.
The band's official announcement on U2.com says Moncton will be "the final date of the U2 360° Tour in North America," which is exactly what was said when the Pittsburgh concert was announced in October. Moncton will be a full 360 tour concert with the claw and the entire production. U2 and the concert promoters will build seating on the sides and rear of the stage location in what's otherwise a big, open field.
Public ticket sales for Moncton start next Tuesday, February 8th. U2.com members have a presale that begins on Wednesday, February 2nd.
