I do admit that metal fans are very loyal , yet very opinionated about.  I have not heard the Metallica and Lou Reed as of late.  I have seen mixed reviews of it.  Just from hearing both, I believe it would have been a great pair.

I'm curious as to how history will look at the Lulu collaboration between Metallica and Reed. I loved it, but I'm the first to admit it is a different affair. Lars is right, metal is a genre that fans are very loyal, yet fussy about. Something slightly off course and they are quick to fling the criticism.

I wouldn't have thought that Lou was that naïve about what the reaction would have been.
