Nice of you to take care of those kids. I come from a very family oriented society, the thought of not being there for the kids wouldn't cross my mind. Also, being religious, no possible other kids anywhere. I'm 46 but got married when I was 30. Oldest kid is 12 so not a granddad yet, hopefully have a while. Some of my friends here do have grandkids but they got married much younger than I did. It's typical to be married here by age 20.

We don;t have a karaoke but so far none of the kids have shown any singing ability at all except for the 6 year old who at least can remain on key. I can sing on key and so can the wife (Yael) and my daughter is learning guitar and took a year of recorder. Haven't seen any particular talent blossom yet though. However, Justin Beeberbrox left the house about the same time it came in. She likes Meat Loaf, Abba, Celine Dion, Patty Smyth/Scandal, Mamas and Papas, lots of female singers really. She's right now putting songs from my collection onto her mp player.
