I never had any true skill when it came to surfing, hell, north shore scared me to tell the truth. Only thing we did up there was take a glider ride. Headed right off an old abandoned airstrip and the guy flew us over the cliffs, Now that was cool.

It's been awhile since I was there, but I never had any problems. Its actually a decent place to catch concerts at.

along with Judas Priest, I saw Tina Turner, Police, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bryan Adams, Beach Boys, Willie Nelson. As well, lots of little bands in the clubs.

You never know what you'll get, but that atmosphere is so damn nice, it really doesn't matter ;)

Only saw the once, and that was waayyy back in 83ish. They happened to be playing in Oahu and I was fortunate enough to snag some tickets at a tourist booth.

Good show, still recall it quite vividly. Halford came screeching onto stage on his motorcycle all decked out in flowers and assorted Hawaiian stuff.

It was a cover song that they did that first got me interested in them. The Green Manalishi (With the Two Prong Crown)" was a Priest song as far as I knew, however it turned out to be a Fleetwood Mac tune. Helluva version though!

be sure and seek out "Last Rose of the Summer" off of Sin After Sin to see how far afield Judas Priest is capable of going

and they covered Joan Baez on that album too

I just moved here from WI.  Small world.  :)  I've gotten more into Sabbath and Priest from my boyfriend.  Does anyone realize that Priest made more songs than Breaking the Law or You've got another thing Comin?  I didn't know that till just recently.  I've been missing out on some good stuff!
