I've seen the Skull candy brand at Hmv and at BestBuy. They run all over the place for price, I think I got mine for somewhere around 15. They do tend to go on sale alot at Best Buy.

if i use an old pair sometimes you get static from the plug but for $3 you can just get another pair, they truly are loud and clear, i turn them usually on 22 out of 25 cause i dont want to blow the speakers. certain formats are louder than other for instance if i play ozzy osbourne its alot louder than pink floyd, i just think its a matter of turning the gain up when they do the reocrding. ive had speakers blow out on me but not in years. perhaps the quality has improved. how much do these skull candys run? they may have them at walmart. the only other electronic store we have is radio shack and they can be pricey.

I use Skull Candy In Ear buds too. They are by far the best set I have ever had. Having said that, I thought it was just a problems with my set that friction from the wires rubbing my shirt was causing static noise. Maybe Skull Candy have a design problem.

But these molded ones are definitely on my shopping list once they are available. I spend a lot of time with ear phones in and would love a really custom pair. Wonder what the price is going to be like once they are released to the world?

I have a set of earbuds (a couple actually), but the ones with the best sound are the Skull Candy make. Problem with them is that they completely block out the rest of the world. That can be a good thing for the music's sake. My problem with them is that the cable that leads from the buds to the player seems to pick up all sorts of noise when rubbing on a shirt or jacket.

i have a pair of radio shack big ones, they are good,i use the ear buds alot cause the headphones broke and i got a new pair and theyre exspensive so i only use them for recording and amp work. i like the ear buds alot cause you can get a pair for $3 at walmart cause theyre always breaking so i buy 2 or 3 at a time.

Interesting stuff. I'd be curious to try the fitting for those ;)

I was on a constant lookout for mobile headphones that I liked. Ended up getting a Sennheizer model. The set that I got are the sport model, quite good sound and extremely light to wear. They don't end up filling up the ear canal, so I can still hear the truck crossing the street, which is probably a good thing.
