[oddmusic] nyc player who played two connected soprano saxes that were rekeyed on the lower notes

 

Several times in the 80s I saw a street musician (whose name I'm
thinking is something like John Block but my memory is dreadful) who
had taken 2 soparano saxes and welded them together and rekeyed some
of the lower notes so each hand could get to most of the notes without
needing both hands on one horn. I saw him playing with a quartet a
number of time around 42nd street. Does anyone remember this guy or
what his name is or better yet onine videos of him playing?
