For Volume VIII , Tribe X
Entertainment and DJ Manixx collaborate with DJ KC Soundclash, (a popular
Igbo DJ living in Washington DC), to compile a mix tape album dedicated to the
music of the Igbo
Tribe in located in Eastern
Nigeria. One of the goals of the mixtape
is to appeal to both the young and older Igbo listeners. The Igbo songs on the
mixtape are from popular mainstream Igbo Afrobeat /Highlife artists like Flavour Nabania, Wizboy, MC Loph(RIP) and also popular Old School Igbo
Highlife/Traditional artists like Sunny Bobo and Ababanna.
The other goal is to introduce or re
introduce Nigerians and the rest of the world to the rich diversity and culture
of Igbo people their Igbo artists and their music. We encourage everyone to
download, listen and share this wonderful compilation of Igbo Music.
