RE: [u2tour] U2 GA experiences

Must wholeheartedly agree that REDZONE would be the only way I'd do this
again.
A major investment but well worth it. I did VIP seats (gasp!) for Las Vegas
and Oakland -never again-that wasn't worth the money.

I did RedZone 1 (Edge side) for Anaheim 1&2 and Montreal 1& 2. Arrived
around 5pm for each show and didn't have to wait at all in any lines as I
had my own entrance.
There was bar service, t-shirt station (in Anaheim) and pizza delivery all
in the Zone. Bathrooms were very close and I don't think I waited more than
3 minutes and was able to get back to my same spot.
I video'd the boys entering at Anaheim and Montreal from back stage and
again returned to my very same spot against the rail in the zone. I should
note that I was *against the Rail* and I did bring a sign so I attracted
attention from all of U2 as they each passed by and acknowledged me! I made
friends with the folks surrounding me (aren't U2 friends the BEST!!) and
they held my spot whilst I got drinks, bathroom run and video'd and I
reciprocated, plus it didn't hurt that they realized my SIGN was a golden
oppty and they wanted me against the Rail because even the security guys we
chatted with remembered me each show and said for sure U2 remembered me,
(ok, they probably didn't but I believed the Crew when they said so!)

I got the BEST pictures, video's and memories. Everyone around me had the
same enthusiasm, energy and felt the magic. I never danced so much as I did
those 4 Red Zone shows.
Yes, my pocketbook is still stinging but I have a priceless grin every time
I travel in my mind back to each special show.
