Okay, I now have my hands on the beast.
I sprung the extra 3 dollars and got one of the deluxe editions....last of
the big time spenders here ;)
So far I'm digging it. Nice little nods to the original, especially in some
of the keyboard work. The bits from Steven are dropped in and out, but take
off in different directions, which is cool, makes a guy sit up and take
notice.
The songs with Neal, Michael and Dennis are very nice, Runaway Train is a
quasi nod to Train Kept a Rollin', which has always been a noted influence
on the group.
Lots of other musicians involved, pretty varied lot as well. I'm sure I'll
have more to say about it after a few tours!
