He's had a couple of battles with the bottle. The first time he cleaned up was around the 'From the Inside' album, which was very loosely based on his stay in a rehab/nut house. That didn't last very long, and it wasn't until after the 'Dada' album that he got his sh*t together and stayed sobre. That would have been sometime between '83 and '85.

From what I understand, Alice Cooper had an alcohol problem early in his career but has been completely sober for many years [maybe 20 or more]. Alice replaced his addiction to alcohol with golf and spends a lot of time playing the game. Apparently he is a very good golfer.

Almost 40 years ago it was "Welcome To My Nightmare", today it's "Fore" ..... who would have thought ????
