I will always remember Keith Moon.....
He was in room 702 at the George V hotel in Paris.
He called me to his room. He wanted me to help him break up a marble table top small enough to fit in the glass tumbler he was holding.
Then he was going to do the same with everything in the room.
I declined and left. Apparently he continued trying.
The following day I spoke to the hotel manager who was at the room. I asked him why he put up with such behaviour.
His answer was simple.... Keith would be paying for the room during the refurbishment. And FOR the refurbishment.
The hotel gains a "new" room and it costs them nothing.
