Best 360 memory? Where to start? Impossible to pick just one
Croke Park, July 2009 after 25 years attending U2 concerts, finally getting to see them in their hometown for two shows back to back. Walking to and from the concerts, through the streets of Dublin with 80,000 other fans from all around the world.
Rose Bowl, October 2009 taking my nephew to his first U2 show (afterwards he declared it "best decision ever"). Arriving super early to avoid traffic, enjoying picnic lunch in the park while hearing sound check for the first time in 25 shows.
Denver, May 2011 standing in the parking lot outside Mile High Stadium day before the concert, listening to rehearsal and hearing Bono talk about what to play next. Hearing "Zooropa" during rehearsal, hardly able to wait to hear it for real the next night. At the show, sitting behind a family of four (mom & dad with two young sons). Helping the younger son, maybe about 7 years old, stand up on his seat so he could see the stage and getting a big thumbs-up from his dad. Watching this kid go out of his mind, rocking out and singing along the whole show!
Seattle, June 2011 staying in a hotel close enough to Qwest Field to be awakened from my nap by sound check the afternoon of the concert.
Anaheim, June 2011 being joined by my nephew for his second U2 show, along with my niece, sister and brother-in-law, persuaded by my nephew to fly cross-country for the event.
Minneapolis, July 2011 seeing the band overcome the challenge of the weather, and the crowd not letting the heavy rain "dampen" their enthusiasm at all. Being really glad we went to REI that morning and bought rain ponchos!
Already counting the days until the next tour
