Thanks for starting this topic, Derek. Can I do three?
1. My aunt Hannah set me off on my U2 obsession 20 years ago. She lived in DC and a radio station there did a U2 B-sides marathon, which she taped and mailed to me. These being the pre-internet days, those tapes were like gold to me. That plus my first U2 show (Camp Randall '93) and it was all over for me. Finally, this summer, I got to SOMEWHAT return that favor when she agreed to let me take her to Soldier Field. So yeah, that whole experience was one of the most gratifying of my life--particularly because she LOVED the show.
2. "One Tree Hill" at the aforementioned show, obviously. You just don't get many moments like that in life. Since JOSHUA is my aunt's favorite album, I assume this was for her.
3. TCF in the pouring rain...again, I could say the whole show, but the encore: "Hallelujah" is just about my wife's favorite song ever, and we didn't see that coming; she was just sobbing with joy, and then Bono doing "Purple Rain" and timing it perfectly in the "Streets" intro...man, I'm getting the shivers.
Finally, I don't know what you folks think, but for me...the first U.S. leg had its moments, but this final leg I felt was one of the great U2 tours ever, topping VERTIGO and giving ELEVATION a run for its money. Damn, now I'm getting sad again. Please don't make us wait another four years, guys...

Subject: [u2tour] Best memory
Ok, now that the ugliness of the GA conversation is mercifully over, let's look back on the great 360 tour. Topic: Your best memory from the tour. What will stay with you the longest? Certain song, certain moment, anything outside the concert itself?
Mine: Baltimore, MD, I'll Go Crazy Remix, standing with my 14 yr old daughter on the outer rail and Bono and Adam stop right in front of us leaning into each other goofing around with each other. We were memorized. As they walk away, we look at each other and say "That was awesome!"
