Can't argue with any of your choices. Interesting to note that the one that is slightly cringe worthy is the only clip with Marc B in action.

Sometimes I think it was so much better back then when I think about the mystery behind these artists. Many of them were just images on album covers, or maybe an article in Circus magazine.

Even if you got to see them on tv once in a blue moon, there was no recorder, so the memory became quite forgiving ; )

I personally think "T-Rex", "Slider" and "Electric Warrior" were the best albums from T-Rex. With the exception of a few songs from each of the following albums I think the later stuff was not particularily good [my opinion].

At one time there was a bit of a riff between Marc Bolan and one or more of the band members but don't remember any details.

In the time before his death, Bolan did change ..... he became a bit of a glam ham and I think that took away some of the bands credibility [especially from their earlier work].

This was the later Marc Bolan which I did not care for ......

But early Bolan was great ....

There is a fun video to watch [playing T-Rex] at

That's an odd situation with TRex. I recall lots of people with a few
albums, but after the Slider/Electric Warrior stuff faded from memory, so
did the group.

Bob,

Do you remember in the 70's when T-Rex was often criticized as "not a
serious rock band" ? I actually like their songs too but have wondered for
years why they received such unfair criticism.
