Chuck Berry was like a happy ball of energy when he first started out, but as he got older, he seemed to be focused on the money, angrier and more defiant ("We're playing Chuck Berry music; nothing else"). I guess years dealing with bad managers, record companies & promoters, plus his time in prison, took its toll.
The film documentary "Hail Hail Rock and Roll" gives a good glimpse of Chuck Berry.

Supertramp is an acquired taste not for everyone. Usually people either like or hate them. Pink Floyd is for people who partook of the 70's experience or who can respect & understand PF's music but weren't part of that experience (and/or were born after the 70's).
