Subject: [u2tour] any advice - ticketmaster won't refund my tickets
This is related to my earlier post about selling philadelphia tickets. I
want to complain about ticketmaster. First, there is no easy customer
service number on the website. Second, it is not clear what their return
policy is and I couldn't tell for sure if my tickets would be returned.
Third, it said that for cancelled/rescheduled events tickets do get
returned. Fourth, I fill out the electronic form. Fifth, I go ahead and
purchase tickets for another date/venue when my childcare can help. Sixth,
I get a customer service email that says I need to confirm my credit card
and address, then "once we get your reply we'll refund your order including
all fees" Seventh, after I did that I get an email that says "the promoter
of this event hasn't given us the authority to refund any tickets to U2".
Eighth, this is crazy, I sent them an email and am going to try to call
them. Anyone have similar experiences or any advice for me?
