So I'm working on a project that calls for some nice looking body contacts.
By nice I mean not bolts, or thick copper wire, etc.... (things I've used in
the past extensively).
I'm building it into a drum that has a lot of chrome/steel/shiny metal and
want it to sort of fit in. I was thinking of using some screw based spikes
or something similar (like what punks put on their belts) but couldn't find
any that didn't look too "metal". As I said, bolts are right out, even
though there are chrome ones.
I basically don't want it to look too DIY. I also need twelve of them, which
means they can't be too crazy expensive.
I've used miniature drawer knobs in the past, but the ones that were chrome
seemed to have a shitty coating on them that came off after a while and
looked terrible.
Any thoughts?
