Peter is right, Montreal is a great city and it is worth seeing! The smart thing would be to be there an extra few days.

For me it IS worth it to stand in line to be closer, because there is nothing like seeing the band up close when you can really feel their energy rather than on a screen. Sure, it's good from further away, but not even close to being closer to the stage.....

But I hope that a lot of people prefer being further away, lol!!

And hopefully people inside the circle will be considerate. When I was at the Toronto shows in 2009, I was in the circle both nights but the circle was over stuffed on night 2, which made things potentially not so great----but all went well!! One person was booted out of the circle by security because he was really drunk and he decided to go to the bathroom right then and there rather than fighting his way out of the circle to go to the bathroom!! (it was impossible to leave let alone come back on night 2)

Ciao and the shows will be extra awesome thanks to the great band loving Montreal!!!
