Re: [Classic_Rock_Forever] re why did beatles break up

I picked up this book at a garage sale a few years ago.

Reasons for grabbing it, honestly, was because it was cheap, very cheap, and I thought perhaps it could be a collectable at some point.

It was quite awhile after getting it that I actually read it.

The book was better than I thought it would be. John was never my 'favourite Beatle', for what that's worth. I can appreciate his talent, but his personality never appealed to me.

Seems as though he was a normal person, who ended up in a situation that was out of his comfort zone.

I think Yoko was a factor in the breakup of the Beatles but from what I've read, the breakup was inevitable .... whether Yoko came on the scene or not.
