Greetings All,
I was lucky to connect with Jeff Beck on his recent trip to Nashville where I
gave him a series of photos which I have had in my files for
over 30 years. They chronicle a night in June of 1968 when the original lineup
of the Jeff Beck Group was playing the legendary Scene Club in New York City
when Jimi Hendrix appeared (without his guitar apparently)
and Jeff loaned him his Les Paul which Jimi flipped over and sat in the the
band. Jeff loved the shots but was disappointed that there were no shots of him
and Jimi together (I'm still working on that). He did though like the shot of a
smiling Ron Wood watching from behind the
Marshall amps. Jeff also signed a great photo of himself from my
