Just before the first "Glastonbury". Michael Eavis was talking to a lady dressed in a kaftan who was "visiting" Worthy Farm with her husband in a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce Phantom.
He turned as he was halfway up a set of stone steps and said "we are hoping to get Melanie".
Now who do you think he was talking to? And wouldn't he be a bit curious anyway with such a "posh" group?
Yes you are correct! It WAS Melanie. I know! I was that chauffeur.
