Don't look now, but a bunch of hippies may be coming to your town. The sixth annual Hippiefest tour launches in August with 21 dates featuring these ex-hippies: Dave Mason (Traffic); Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad); Rick Derringer (The McCoys); Felix Cavaliere (Rascals); Gary Wright (Spooky Tooth). The tour starts in San Diego on August 3 and winds up in New Orleans September 4.

Judas Priest are prepping for what they say will be their last tour (beginning in June) but guitarist KK Downing, a founding member of the band, has decided to take early retirement. But the band assures fans that the show will go on, with Richie Faulkner as Downing's replacement. The band is also planning a new album for release next year. As for Downing's retirement after 43 years in the same job, his band mates say they "respect his decision and naturally wish him well."
