Hi U2 fans,
I have been a member of u2.com and this tour group for almost 8 years. There has been a brief lapse in my membership, given that I was not informed that my membership had expired. I contacted u2.com today by phone to try and resolve this. I was informed by a representative that I have completely lost my status with the fanclub. I was informed by a supervisor that it can not be reset without starting again as a new member.
As a long standing fan who has paid for membership fees, merchandise, tickets, it is hard for me to believe that the management can be so unsympathetic to the fans. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience? I am also wondering if anyone can suggest who I can speak to in an attempt to resolve this matter?
I don't post often, but everyone here has been incredibly helpful over the years. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
