I think that was the biggest surprise that Bob has given me in concert. With
the exception of the last tour, he has always stepped up to the front when
the lead guitar duties are inserted into the song. He has that somewhat
'lock and load' action as the solo starts and he pulls 'er off just fine for
me. Note sure why, but I wasn't expecting him to be good at all in that
role. I was more than happy to be proven wrong.
Last tour he handled keyboard duties and yet again, made the sound his own.
The stage was set up interesting, with him on the right side, facing out at
an angle. Stood the entire time, doing that little dance he does while
playing. The rest of the crew was on stage left, lined up in a diagonal line
facing him.
Helluva show everytime.

I've got that, Oh Mercy, it is very good.
He played all the lead guitar on it, such as it is.
the story I heard was, he gets together with Lanois and Dylan says, well, I
dont have any songs really
and Lanois says, thats ok, ROLL TAPE PLEASE
and it just sort of started happening
