I quite recall being in those junior high arguements about which band was
better than the other. It was fun at the time, but as a guy gets older, and
man, I'm getting older, that stuff just doesn't make sense anymore.
If I like a group, that's great. If I don't like them, well that's too bad
for me, but why should I knock somebody elses favourite.
As well, some of the stuff I didn't have time for back then, is now great
music now to my ears.
and conversely, some of my old musical favourites are quite as interesting
as I used to think. Lots of those are just do to overplay probably. Doesn't
mean they are no good, I've just filled up on them.
