I bought the first Rossington Collins band album, but in honesty, I never
gave it a fair chance. I should dig that out one of these days and tour it
again.

Van Halen has always been an odd group for me. Something about them bothered
me, but I'm not sure what. Roth had a unique voice, Eddie was a fresh style
sound, Michael and Alex were obviously solid. The whole package just didn't
click well with my ears. I used to blame them for the 80's, but then what's
bad about being an influencial band, just cuz I didn't dig it ;)
