Hey Mark,
Welcome to the group. To answer your question, there is no rule about
trading music in this group, however, the is no active trading going on.
Agreed that the trading of legal downloads is dying off. I used to take part
in a very small way, but today with sites like Sugarmegs, I can pretty much
keep myself occupied ;) Another site is the Archive.org, which has piles of
stuff for checking out.

I have recently joined this group, and other than the main subject matter
(Classic Rock)- I was wondering if this was strictly a discussion group. Do
members freely share any type of music, such as legal concert downloads?
There are other discussion groups that pass round "vines" of audio or FLAC
files, and was curious if this occurs here. This form of sharing seems to be
dying away with the availabilty of direct downloads.
I look forward to interesting discussions and info in this group.
Mark.
