I can't believe that any of them have big egos especially Peter (who I met once). These guys are usually hamming it up on stage and seem to have a great time. For years, they've deal with the stigma of The Monkees not being "a real band". I'm sure that has to be humbling.
Michael, on the other hand & from what I've read/seen, appears to have frequent disagreements with people (mgmt, promoters, band members, etc) since the beginning of The Monkees. IMHO, he may be a bit more sensitive than the other bandmates.

> From what I read. During the last reunion tour, Michael just walked off the stage in the middle of the tour. At that point, he said never again. He stated something to the effect that Micky, Davy, and Peter had over inflated ego's.
