Mariama Basse, Principal Dancer and Assistant Choreographer of the Maimouna
Keita African Dance Company in NY will be in Oakland, CA! Mariama is a great
dancer who hasn't been in the bay area for a couple of years now. Those who have
danced with her in the past, or recently at a conference, know that she has a
warm and positive energy on the dance floor!
Also, on Saturday at 6:30pm we will have a special guest Omou Faye from Santa
Cruz, another excellent dancer, who's class I truly enjoyed just a few weeks
ago! Let's welcome them both to Oakland!!!
