Anyone going to Rome looking for cheap and cheerful accomodation this place is great, it's a few km out of Rome but, on the same side of the city as the Stadium. It has housetents and bungalows, outdoor swimming pools and jacuzzi, bar, bbq . Check it out . We are paying 17 euro a night which is amazing for Rome.

Oh and getting in and out of the city is quick, cheap and easy. The campsite also run a shuttle to and from both airports and into the centre of Rome

It would be nice if there were more U2 folk staying there!

Subject: [u2tour] looking for company in Rome

Hi, there,

A small group of eager-to see-U2 Latvians(not really sure yet how many, at this moment we're only 2 but we could turn out to end up 4.. :) ) are planning a short trip (for 10 days, or nights..) through Italy with the aim to get to Rome in time for U2s concert! And so,- we're wondering if there would be anyone living in Rome and wanting to accommodate us for the night before the gig( - October 7th to 8th) and, perhaps, attend it together. :) It could as well be a backyard of a house, a rooftop or something like that :). We're gonna have sleeping bags, etc. so that wouldn't be a problem for us.
I just would love to get a good rest before the magic to happen in Stadio Olimpico.. :) And, off course, get to know the local people ;)

If you're intersted or have any other idea for us, please, conatct me - j.j.bruvers@gmail.com

Take care,

Janis
