' they pretty much stopped writing great songs after Achtung Baby and the past 15 years they have produced the odd gem in an overall disappointing output'?
Your opinion is your opinion and mine is mine so theres little point in having that arguement but 'Streets' the only highlight? Are you wise?
Highlights from last year for me:Breathe,Bad,Still Haven't Found,One,With or Without You,Vertigo(awesome every night),Unknown Caller(Edge's solo was incredible every single time),Crazy(just great craic!),Ultra Violet Light,Moment of Surrender.
I am a fan of 30 years as well so my question is,having been a fan for 30 years and being of the opinion that they haven't done much of note since Achtung Baby, why are you still going?
In your opinion half the set is 'disappointing' so whats the point?

Okay, I guess Larry's opened my "pandora's box" or mouth, in this
case. I agree, there would be NO HIGH POINT without STREETS!!!! Even
as I type the words, I'm getting the same "energy shivers" that I get
everytime I start to hear the very beginning....start to creep into
my soul......i can hear it now.....
