I'd agree. Although I'd say music is a bargain price these days. I vividly
recall record costs from when I was a kid. Some numbers that stick in my
head where 6.98, then up to 7.29 for quite awhile. When a single album went
to 8.98 I was less than impressed. Double albums were at least 10.98 but
more often $12.
When you think about it, I can buy pretty much any new release for 12.99 at
Hmv. Less if I wade out into the amazon waters. That's pretty decent
inflation considering that 7.29 price for a record is in 1979 dollars.

Major Labels by the End of 2012
One thing nobody brought up is the price. I remember the price of albums
going up cause it took more to make the LP's. Now you got no, lp's, no CD's
and no paper for the artwork. This should be a hell of a lot cheaper then.
