Back in the 80s while studying for my master's, a friend knocked at my dorm and said: "Let's go, U2's concert start in a bit and we need to get there soon". I told him that I needed to study for a test and couldn't go, and that I didn't know who they were. He convinced me telling me that I didn't have to pay a single penny. So it happens that he knew they were recruiting security helpers, and when we got there, I was given a yellow jacket, told what to do, and sent to the field of the then called Robbie Stadium in Miami, to see that people behaved as they were suppose to and didn't jump over the barricades to get into the field area. Well, I couldn't pay too much attention to the people...I was mesmerized by the group...being a guitar player myself I was just overwhelmed by The Edge. Bono, Adam, and Larry....and from that moment on I am in love with U2...and by the way, I got paid to see them and did good in my test next day...what I nice way of being
introduced to U2....been to see them twice after that occasion although I would've loved to see them at each and every concert they have ever played...
