Great Thread! Mine was driving eight hours on my Harley to Minneapolis from Bismarck, ND to see the guys at TCF. First seeing the "claw", the anticipation of waiting for the band to walk out (we were right above where they walked out!) Then the rain! 50,000 people rocking out to Bono singing homage to Prince in his hometown with "Purple Rain" was awesome! We had no ponchos, no raincoats and were soaked clear through to our skivvies but hardly noticed, it was enchanting to see Bono belting out Streets, my favorite U2 song, with the rain framing him.
Thanks everyone for the opportunity to share these memories, no one quite understands when you tell these stories to them if they aren't addicts, as I (we) are!
