I'm still on an older version (v.6) and I maybe use a third of its
functionality.
It is geared for live performance, real-time on the fly stuff.
I like the way plug-ins can be chained together and some of the plug-
in controls give nice access to the parameters.
One can easily chain say 8 (or more) different arpeggiators to a
single clip (I don't think that is really possible in Logic) and edit
the piano roll while it is playing. And one could place delays and
filters between the arpeggiators change the settings and then automate
the changes. For when you want Nancarrow on meth.
And Live is friendly to many 3rd party plug-ins, Logic not so much.
I would like to try Sonar, shame it is only for Windows.
