Hi Kelsey,

How long will you be staying? I wonder if Bono may pay a visit to Springhill, Nove Scotia just past Amherst....

Downtown Moncton is cute, but the rest of it is pretty ugly. (has that sprawly feel to it)

Don't know where U2 will stay--wonder of they will fly straight out after the show...

Things to see: (** =highest recommendation)

** Hopewell Rocks at low tide (great fun for kids)

- Fundy National Park

** Joggins (Unesco world heritage site); Fossil cliffs on the beach, and the earliest reptile. Great visitor centre and cafetaria. Again you can only access the beach and fossil cliffs during low tide.

- Chediac beach (warm water!)

- water slides at Magnetic Hill

- Dieppe market is great

- If you stay long enough, it would be worth it to drive to PEI, and visit this great little island! (good restaurants in Charlottetown-don't know much else but great beaches.)

Places to stay: If you don't want to stay downtown, you could stay at the Holiday Inn Express near the airport: it is very kid friendly with a pool, and breakfast included-close to magnetic hill.

Places to eat:

- Calactus Cafe (vegetarian, very good) 128 St George Street

- Asian Garden Inn ( very good Indian food) 25 Killam Drive

- Pumphouse Brewery (GREAT micro brewery beer, and attached restaurant) 5 Orange Lane

That's all for now!

We will have our 7 year old daughter with us, are there any recommendations anyone can make on what to do, where to eat? Also, does anyone think the band will stay in Moncton and if so, where might they stay? I have given up on trying to meet them at the venues and am going to try their hotel now.
