Music: Re: [u2tour] MEXICO, DF CONCERT!!!

Really excited, this morning I catched several radio stations playing U2
and I'm guessing until the concerts are over we will be listening to their
singles on the radio more often even in stations that regularly don't have
them as part of their regular circulation.
Almost everywhere you find someone going to the concerts, different ages,
backgrounds, occupations and reasons to be there; some people are going
for the first time, some celebrate their 20th time going to a U2 concert
and in every case the excitement is palpable.
There's a huge amount of U2 fans in Mexico , and very passionate fans
indeed. In the eve of the year 2000 a local radio station made a countdown
to the best songs of the century voted by the mexican audience and not
surprisingly U2 had several spots in the top ten and earned the number one
spot with, well, One.
I've been fortunate to be in U2 concerts in different countries and I can
tell you that Mexico's fans are some of the loudest and more enthusiastic
audiences i have seen.
I hope you will have a great time in Mexico. Will you be able to join us
in the Hard Rock U2 Tribute this Saturday? It would be fantastic to have
fans from all around the world.
