I'd love it if you could make it down to Southern Illinois to play live
on "It's Too Damn Early." I can give you as much of the 2.5 hour show as
you wish, but I can only do it live. If a 4-6:30am Central (Saturday
morning) timeslot is no good for your travels, perhaps we can work out a
phone-in interview/performance. As you know, I'm a fan of your music,
and have often played your material (to excellent reception) on both my
broadcasts.
Keep in mind that Carbondale, Illinois is about 1.5 hours away from St.
Louis (Lemp Neighborhood Arts Center is an excellent venue there, as is
Apop Records). We are also 3 hours from Nashville, Tennessee-- a very
easy drive. I have a friend there who can assist with shows in that
area, and possible broadcast opportunities. Because of the broadcast
time of my show, it is very easy to fit in after an evening performance,
or prior to an evening set somewhere else.
