It's a new space called the Service Center for Contemporary Culture +
Community, which is run by the Big Car arts collective
(http://bigcar.org/). From the website, it looks like the space is
either soon-to-open, or opened earlier this year. The show was set up
by a fellow from from the record label that put out Kristin's latest
cd (Asthmatic Kitty Records).
I'm not sure what they normally book, but it looks like they're
stylistically all over the map. If you live near there, they seem like
they'd be good folks to get to know.
