Looking back through the seminal works of Stockhausen, Cage and Tenney, to the culture jamming theatrics of Negativland and into the psychological minimalism of John Duncan, radio has served as an invaluable and expressive tool within the continued history of avant-garde composition.

Nozmo King hosts work collected from nearly thirty sound artists using radio as a principle medium in composition for the purpose of being broadcast over the radio waves. Most of these commissioned tracks are exclusive for this special.
